A last-mile delivery company focused on catering, restaurant orders, businesses and scheduled food delivery — not a marketplace, and not a general parcel courier.
Houston Delivery Services has been the flat-rate catering and restaurant delivery partner for the greater Houston area since 2021. We work with restaurants, caterers, offices and individuals who need a large food order to arrive intact, on time, and presented well.
We are a logistics partner rather than an ordering platform. We do not take a commission on your food, we do not list your restaurant in a marketplace, and we do not put our brand in front of your customer. The order is yours; the delivery is ours.
Why HDS exists
Catering delivery is not parcel delivery
Moving a catering order from a restaurant to an event is a different job from moving a package, and it fails in different ways.
The kitchen sets the clock
A catering order is ready when it is ready. Arriving early means waiting; arriving late means cold food. Pickup has to be coordinated with the restaurant rather than assigned to whoever happens to be nearby.
The orders are large
Trays, chafing dishes, drink carriers and boxes for fifty people do not travel like a single takeout bag. They need room, they need to stay level, and they need a driver who expects them.
Temperature is the whole product
Food that arrives lukewarm has failed, however quickly it got there. Catering orders travel in professional thermal transport equipment rather than loose in the back of a car.
Someone is waiting on it
A meeting starts at noon. An event has a schedule. Catering delivery is judged against a commitment somebody else already made to a room full of people.
The handoff represents your brand
For the customer receiving the order, the driver is the restaurant. The delivery ends with a professional in-person handoff, not a photo of a bag on a step.
You should not have to chase it
Order status is visible from pickup through completion, so nobody has to call and ask where the food is.
